**Role Overview**:
- Investigating and processing refunds for wire payments and transfers to trust or between accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with policy and procedures for write-offs.
- Resolving payment discrepancies with internal and external clients.
- Participating in testing new software or upgrades to the accounting system.
- Generating ad-hoc reports and preparing monthly Cash Management Reports for all accounts.
- Liaising with the bank to resolve unallocated payments.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with lawyers and legal assistants.
- Providing exemplary customer service to internal and external clients.
- Assisting with year-end audit requests.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Accounts Receivable.
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Up to 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience in a corporate environment, law firm or professional services environment experience is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Elite, 3E or other professional accounting software is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong client service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and resourceful with strong organizational and analytical ability.
- Demonstrates good judgment and a high degree of professionalism.
