Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following recipes with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and recommending menu items
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of all beverages served
- Assist in food preparation and service as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
- Proficiency in food handling, including basic food preparation techniques
- Strong math skills for cash handling and basic calculations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in cashiering or food service is a plus

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
