We currently have an opportunity available for a Coordinator, Charter Sales. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Responsible for receiving and responding to all new incoming charter inquiries in order to sell and coordinate new charter flights from first call through to completion, and to provide superior Customer Service while communicating efficiently and effectively with clients regarding quote requests and bookings. To develop and grow Sunwest’s third party charter broker business.
- Respond promptly to all incoming new or unassigned charter customer inquiries.
- Quote and negotiate the sale of charter flights.
- Work with other Business Development Team members in coordinating sales follow up.
- Arrange all aspects of charter flight bookings including aircraft, catering, U.S and Foreign Customs, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, other services.
- Utilize current dispatch program and quoting system to provide information to clients and to book and confirm flights.
- Prepare and provide aircraft quotes to existing and potential clients.
- Obtain solutions for customers when Sunwest does not have the ability to provide the service requested by sourcing third party operator quotes.
- Obtain and maintain passenger information for all flights.
- Re-arrange flights as required for normal and irregular operations.
- Maintain accurate and up to date files on all assigned clients.
- Follow-up with clients after flight.
- Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with assigned clients and follow company customer care programs.
- Assist Billing Coordinator (as necessary) to resolve issues related to invoicing of trips.
- Track and document turn down trips and cancellations.
- Attend regular Flight Coordinator meetings and other related meetings.
- Generate Monthly Reports to specific clients, as required.
- Preparation of customer reports as applicable.
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications, Experience and Competencies**:

- High school diploma
- Post-secondary education in travel, marketing or business will be considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years sales or customer service experience
- Flight coordinating or travel coordinating experience considered an asset
- Previous customer service/sales experience will be considered an asset
- Strong computer knowledge and skills are required
- Experience in or an interest in aviation is a definite asset
- Hard-working self-starter
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with pleasant and efficient telephone manner and customer service abilities
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem solving ability
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Ability to work in a fast paced, continually changing environment
- Ability to get along with coworkers and work on an individual and team basis
- Complete work assignments by deadlines, which may require you to stay late on occasion
- Excellent multi-tasking skills required
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
