We are currently hiring for a **B2B** **Sales Development Specialist - Specialty Tapes and Packaging** to support our existing clients while developing new territory sales in the GTA, Southwestern and Mid Western Ontario, based out of our branch in Cambridge, Ontario. We are looking for a hunter that strives to uncover and close new opportunities. Since 1969 we have been a leading Canadian Distributor of Specialty Tape and Packaging Products. We currently operate 5 Distribution Centers across Canada with in house Converting operations. **Responsibilities**:

- Managing all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to customers.
- Develop sales plans and programs to ensure profit, growth, and expansion of company product lines.
- Pursuing new customer opportunities through cold calling and field visitation.
- Managing a territory and hunting for new opportunities on a regular basis
- Display a professional manner while representing the company.
- Participating in facility walk-throughs, plant, and factory tours to assess product requirements.
- Targeting core business industries and segments.
- Directly communicating and meeting with potential customers to schedule sales meetings and assessing sales opportunities.
- Create and present accurate quotes with the assistance of the General Manager to potential customers.
- Drive growth by selling products and services to customers in all industries using consultative sales.
- Develop relationships with Vendor Partners and utilize expertise and Product support as well as coordinate Vendors in Joint calls.
- Documenting and tracking key potential clients while maintaining a CRM platform to capture leads and opportunities.
- Manage a Sales Pipeline, update stages from lead to close business while capturing daily activities.
- Provide weekly and daily updates on sales opportunities and activities.
- A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently and a commitment to driving sales and solidifying a customer base.
- Industry sensitive: research, prospect and target new opportunities.
- Advise management on opportunities and ask for support to assist in closing new business.
- Actively pursue leads and opportunities in a timely manner.
- Complete Sales Quotations and Sales Orders efficiently and accurately within SAP.

**Qualifications**:

- University /College Degree or strong Industrial Business experience preferred.
- Solid experience in Industrial Sales preferably in a role involving cold calling and prospecting in the Tape, Adhesive and Packaging markets.
- B2B Sales experience
- Ability to travel daily through the GTA, Southern / Mid Western Ontario
- must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
- Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills with a tremendous focus on details, understands margins, pricing, costing.
- Results driven with the ability to seek out new business and recognize opportunities with existing customers.
- Ability to multitask in a very fast paced environment and adapt quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills with a focus on customer service and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Highly organized, focused, and comfortable making direct communication to prospective customers.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and SAP and other related programs.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
- Highly motivated and driven to succeed and produce results.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 per year

- Cambridge, ON: reliably commute to branch office daily and within the GTA ,Mid Western and Southwestern Ontario

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC College Diploma - Business Administration or Equivalent

**Experience**:

- B2B sales: 3- 5 yrs. Preferred.
- Industrial Sales relevant to Packaging and Tape products

**Language**:

- English

Willingness to travel:

- 50 -60 % within the Territory
