**The Project Coordinator is a leader in quality of construction and operational excellence and is responsible for aspects of job coordination, manage, adjust, and close out the installation or contractually agreed upon scope of work**.

**Specific responsibilities of a Project Coordinator include**:
**General**
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
- Liaise, consult, and communicate with suppliers and contractors in a timely manner
- Gather and communicate customer and erector feedback to other departments
- Develop and implement quality control procedures
- Archive/File all documents
- Evaluate and approve minor customer concessions

**Lead to Order**
- Internally update and communicate lead times (structural steel, standard materials, specialty materials, erectors)
- Confirm material delivery schedules embedded in customer contracts

**Order to Approval/Installation Drawings**
- Quality vendors (Structural steel, standard materials, specialty materials)
- Obtain fabricator structural shop drawings
- Obtain specialty material shop drawings
- Confirm customers receival of permits and scheduled deliveries
- Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods

**Material Orders**
- Quote vendors for pricing confirmation
- Manage material delivery date and material orders
- Qualify job site conditions
- Notify customers of material delivery

**Installation Drawings to Construction Close**
- Review contract deliverables and requirements
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
- Track progress and cost, document projects with significant changes to initial MetalCor Building Systems project plan
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and installation problems
- Effective communication in conflict resolution (de-escalation, forward looking)
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at job site
- Investigate damaged material claims, accidents or onsite delays, to ensure proper procedures are being carried out
- Prepare and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with customers
- Draft formal response to customer questions or complaints
- Confirm percentage of competition for billing
- Provide warranty documents

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Knowledge of pre-engineered steel building system practices
- 4+ years experience
- Excellent command or project management tools and technics
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to investigate problems or potential problems to avoid reoccurrence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
- Proficient in: Bluebeam, AutoCad, Revit
- Ability to communicate at numerous levels, internally and externally to the company
- Excellence in oral and written communication in English'
