**THE COMPANY**
T&T Seeds is at the starting line of gardens in Canada and has been since 1946 providing a robust and diversified selection of flower and vegetable seeds, seedling fruit and non-fruit trees, shrubs, perennial bulbs, plants, nutrients and gardening supplies. Our proprietary production processes and tailored fulfillment operations, combined with our expertise in gardening and customer care aim to help our customers thrive.

Serving Canadians, coast to coast with our online, phone and local garden center sales channels, we focus on gardeners of all sizes with an expertise in supplying and supporting small to midsize gardens and farms. Whether a garden is for supplying families, grocers, communities or manufacturers we are there.

**THE POSITION**
The Sales Manager will lead, manage and be accountable for the day-to-day operations of our retail garden center and commercial customer segments including small to midsize farms and retailers. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about retail management, a ‘roll up their sleeves to get the job done’ attitude, as well as driving business growth. As we continue to grow, we are searching for a sales manager who aligns with our core values and is passionate about empowering others to thrive.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage daily garden center operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and merchandising.
- Plan, recruit, select, and train for A-players on your team.
- Lead, develop, and work alongside your retail garden center team members to achieve targets.
- Drive sales through a creative garden center layout, clean environment and product merchandising.
- Meet inventory management targets with efficient ordering, stocking, and sales training.
- Plan and execute in-store promotions, workshops and events.
- Participate in the initial phase and launch of a new product category.
- Create and manage in-store and external customer relationships.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- You share our Core Values
- 3+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the horticulture, agriculture, or consumer goods industry.
- Proven experience in retail or hospitality operations.
- Proven experience in business to business relationships.
- Participated in or led a new product launch.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, think strategically, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for gardening and knowledge of seeds and plants is a plus.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
