**About the BCLDB**:
The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is one of two branches of government that provide oversight for the beverage alcohol and non-medical cannabis industries in the province. The LDB is responsible for the wholesale distribution of liquor and cannabis, and operates the retails brands BCLIQUOR and BC Cannabis Stores.

The BC Liquor Distribution Branch Wholesale Operations division is the hub of beverage alcohol distribution in British Columbia. There are three business units; Wholesale Supply Chain, Pricing & Imports and Distribution, working in partnership with suppliers to maintain a resilient and responsive supply chain whilst focusing on exceeding our customers’ expectations, and giving back to the communities we serve. **About this role**:
With a renewed leadership effort to improve business operations and increase profitability the Wholesale team drives the following three goals:
Relationships: Developing engaged employees through hands on leadership, employee development, inspiring team to perform above current levels. Setting high standards of performance and holding team members, other government jurisdictions, outside contractors, industry agencies, etc. accountable for results and actions. Having a genuine intent to foster the long-term learning or developing of others through coaching, managing performance and mentoring.
Service: Implementing a partnership approach to all interactions, both internal and external. Understanding and servicing needs of a client/customer focusing on participating, meeting and exceeding their needs.
Results: Strong business acumen. Understanding and then taking action to achieve and/or exceed goals of high standards and government revenue.

Standard office environment with high focus of visual attention to computer screens or printed materials.

**Position requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:
- Experience in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Minimum of 6 months recent (having occurred in the last 5 years), related work experience in product costing, importation, pricing and cost accounting.
- Gathering, execution of data entry and maintenance of complex data.
- Degree/diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or related field.
