HealthLink BC (HLBC) delivers digital and telehealth services across the continuum of care to British Columbians and health care providers. HLBC bridges the gap before, between, and after in-person community services to best support the patient in the optimization of their health; and health care providers in their aim to achieve the highest clinical outcome for their patients.

The successful applicant ensures that the data in the provincial HLBC Directory is complete and correct. They will build and maintain relationships with data providers, collect directory data from them, and ensure that the data is made available to the public on a timely basis according to established standards. In addition, they will also identify necessary information sources and significant gaps in information coverage.

**Job Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, database or information and referral systems, or a related field or equivalent combination of training/experience/education.

**A minimum of one (1) year or more of *recent (within the last 5 years) related experience is required.**
- Experience working with large and complex database systems that use taxonomy for indexing.
- Experience working with or informing the design of public interface of a database.
- Experience working with internal and external partners.

**Preference may be given to applicants with the following**:

- Experience in the health sector.
- Who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit).
- Experience working in or supporting a contact centre.
- Experience delivering digital services.

**About this Position**:
There are currently six (6) positions available.
This position can be based out of any of the location(s) listed above.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
