Primary Care Division (PCD) works in collaboration with its health system partners to improve and transform the way primary care services are delivered in British Columbia. The PCD is responsible for setting provincial strategy and policy direction to support achieving a high functioning primary health care system that meets the needs of all British Columbians. The PCD actively supports the full implementation and adoption of these innovative strategies and policies at all levels in communities throughout the province; and, seeks to continuously improve the quality of primary care in response to performance measurement and evaluation results. HealthLink BC supports PCD's mandate through delivery of a variety of clinical and non-clinical digital and telehealth services.

As the Program Assistant for the Primary Care Division you lead a variety of office administrative, secretarial and financial support services for the branch and coordinate the day to day priorities of the manager, including providing liaison with ministry executive offices.

**Job Requirements**:

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- Experience leading others.
- Experience working in an office setting.
- Proficient experience with Outlook calendaring.**About this Position**:
This position can be based in any of the following Ministry of Health offices:

- ** **Burnaby, Duncan, Kelowna, Langley, New Westminster, Vancouver or Victoria.An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 2 days at home per week as per the Telework Agreement.
