The Ministry of Children and Family Development works together with Indigenous Child and Family Service Agencies, Indigenous service partners, contracted community social service agencies, foster caregivers, cross-government, and social sector partners to deliver inclusive, culturally respectful, responsive and accessible services that support the well-being of children, youth and families.

The Partnership & Indigenous Engagement Division is responsible for engaging with Indigenous partners in British Columbia on systemic child welfare issues, including discussions related to jurisdiction and governance. Working closely within the Division and with other areas of the Ministry, the Negotiations Support Administrator will provide administrative support and project management for the development of a variety of agreements with Indigenous Governing Bodies and First Nations. The Division works closely with other ministries, the federal government and key Indigenous partners on emerging child welfare related issues and projects that affect Indigenous children and families.

**Job Requirements**:

- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- Completion of courses in project management.
- Experience providing project management support services.
- Experience managing multiple projects and assignments.
- Experience dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information and issues.
- Experience managing diverse workloads effectively and independently.

**Preference may be given to applicants with the following**:

- Experience working with Indigenous communities.
