Job Summary
The Manager, Operational Publications is responsible for managing a team of Technical Publications Specialists in the design, development and production of ATS technical documentation. ATS operational publications include but are not limited to MATS, ATSAMM, Proficiency Manual, OC Manops, Flight Inspection Guide and Special Air Events Manual.

In this role you will:
- Manage the overall design, development and production of ATS technical documentations.
- Plan, allocate and manage material, financial and human resources
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage a team of represented professionals.
- Establish goals, objectives and performance indicators, and coach staff to ensure they are aware of their performance as well as the company’s expectations.
- Ensure good employer-employee relations and effective personnel development.
- Determine training and development requirements
What you bring:
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience gained through working in an ANS environment
- Experience in UI/UX
- A minimum of 3 years experience in managing a team, including related financial and human resources
- Experience in managing large projects
- Experience in technical writing and in publishing
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Management, is considered an asset
- Knowledge of operational policies, standards, procedures and technique
- Knowledge of publication hardware and software
- Knowledge of specific document management software including graphic design software
- An understanding of the principles of layout and design in order to develop a wide range of published materials for internal and external clients.
