Human Resources Recruiter/coordinator

**Key position functions include**:
- Provide general human resource services focusing on recruitment, orientation and onboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment and selection activity, including advertising, screening, interviewing, checking references and offers of employment.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system to regularly monitor and update the status of advertised positions.
- Coordinate and conduct pre-screens, in-person, and virtual interviews.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify human resources talent needs.
- Coordinate orientation and onboarding activities, and further develop program to best assimilate new employees.
- Liaise with external recruitment agencies as required.
- Support the payroll department with project work as required.
- Perform other related projects/duties as assigned.
- Two years’ experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Recruiter role preferred.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good understanding of recruitment strategies and familiarity with sourcing through industry-leading sourcing tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Motivate and efficient self-starter with positive “can do” attitude.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- HRIS experience would be as asset (UKG preferred).
