**Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking and responsible individual to join our Warehouse team as an Operations Desk Administrator on a contract basis from March to October.**

The Operations Desk Administrator is part of the team that is responsible for overseeing all assigned transactions and communications for customers. You will be involved in setting up paperwork for imports for arrivals into the warehouse, exports leaving the warehouse, and release of freight out of the warehouse. You will be required to be in constant contact with customers providing updates on their shipments.

**Job Summary**:

- Enter data into multiple software systems quickly and accurately
- Process customer shipments entering and exiting the warehouse
- Liaising frequently with customer, third party providers and internal operations groups
- Scan and upload proof of delivery documents
- Check for customs release pertaining to shipments in the warehouse
- Report any data discrepancies
- Follow quality service standards and comply with company procedures, rules and regulations
- Keep a clean and safe working environment

**Shift Times**:
10:00am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday

OR

8:00am-4:30pm, Sunday to Thursday

Possibility for overtime hours depending on business needs.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Good organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Able to work independently and within the team
- Adept at problem solving for different situations that may arise
- Is a quick learner and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Able to assess stressful situations in a calm manner and make decisions based on changing information
- Minimum 40 wpm typing speed
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other computer programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues
- Ability to effectively handle time critical issues and work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Fun, positive and professional attitude
- Punctual and flexible with work hours based on business needs

**Compensation**:
$21-22 per hour commensurate with experience

**Location**:
Richmond, BC

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
