**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, Sales Planning NA Retail, the Sales Planning Manager’s role will support four key areas: (1) Sales & Operations Planning, (2) Channel and Customer Strategy, (3) Revenue Growth Management, and (4) best in class sales execution. This role is responsible for servicing all of HLF North American Retail.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Works collaboratively with Sales, Demand & Supply Planning and Brand Teams to drive one High Liner consensus forecast. Including working across the Sales Team and Demand Planning Team to bridge forecast gaps, planning assumptions and outlook versus achievement of Budget
- Co-leads the annual operating plan process to develop brand and customer plans with supporting building blocks, tracks forecast versus budget, drives opportunity action plans & champions overall continuous improvement of the internal HLF budget process.
- Partners internally with cross-functional team to provide channel and customer insights into product development, annual operating plan and ongoing business plans
- Collaborates with Brand Team to develop, maintain, communicate, and track Brand strategy execution (across price, promo, shelving, assortment), drives lessons learned & recommends corrective actions if/as required.
- Collaborates with Insights, Brand Team and Sales to develop and present best-in-class category management and execution playbooks to Sales Team. Tracks in-market performance vs KPIs and takes corresponding actions.
- Provide analytics of customer consumption data into fact based selling tools for sales analysis
- Pricing Analytics and recommendations
- Links Sales, Brand Marketing, FP&A and Supply cross-functional stakeholders to support timely Customer RFP/Bid submissions and performance tracking vs KPIs.
- Supports business with daily sales reporting, provides input to quarterly Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors presentations
**Qualifications**:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Retail Account Management experience (preferred)
- Sales Forecasting or Demand Planning experience (preferred)
- 2-3 years of reporting and analysis experience, preferably with Microsoft Tools
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel and power point.
- Ability to deal with ambiguous requirements and translate them into actionable insights
- Solid computer skills with focus on Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.
- Willingness to travel as needed to drive business results
