**Supply Chain Coordinator - Full Time - Permanent**

**Maple Automotive Corporation **has an exciting opportunity available for someone who wants to work in the Toyota supply chain as a **Supply Chain Coordinator**. Maple Automotive Corporation (MAC) is a sequenced supplier providing tire & wheel assembly to the Toyota production line since 2003.

**As an overview**, this position is responsible for ordering all materials affecting the MAC production process required to meet the customer’s (Toyota) production plan, ongoing monitoring of the master production schedules for all materials and administering inventory levels within a lean manufacturing environment.

Additionally, ensures that the quality assurance operational objectives are met by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews, while developing and maintaining quality standards as per the Supplier Quality Assurance Manual (SQAM).

This position will be responsible for the following (non-inclusive) duties:
**Production Control**:

- Complete & release daily supplier subcomponent orders to meet production schedules.
- Utilize customer production plans to prepare, analyze and release weekly supplier forecasts.
- Maintain close support with suppliers to ensure all supply requirements are met and expedite parts when necessary.
- Monitor inventory fluctuations and daily demand. Determine/maintain target inventory level for components and finished goods safety stock. Conduct cycle counts and semi-annual physical inventory to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Sustaining and overseeing inventory database.
- Processing orders in the accounting system.
- Ordering parts for all trials and fulfilling Electronic Procurement Notification System (EPNS) orders as required.
- Prepare custom documentation and coordinate transportation for all special orders and as required.
- Receive all supplier packing slips and ensure accuracy before providing to the accounting team. Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
- Return all reject parts to supplier and ensure Return Goods Approval (RGA) are received.

**Quality**:

- Maintain quality standards as per Toyota Supplier and Quality Assurance Manual (SQAM).
- Development of Supplier Quality System (SQS) to ensure improved supplier quality performance.
- Issue supplier quality reports, develop and verify permanent countermeasures with suppliers.
- Coordinate and execute engineering changes/program buildouts/prototype builds/service builds and works to minimize obsolescence and scrap.
- Creating and maintaining matrix (bill of material) documents for vehicle programs.
- Working effectively with the customer and suppliers during model changes to create and receive approved Inspection Standards and Part approvals.
- Managing International Management Data System (IMDS) program, as necessary.
- Support Production with quality concerns.
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Related College Diploma, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Just-in-Time manufacturing environment.
- Experience with the Toyota Production System an asset.
- Must be able to work in Cambridge and Woodstock.
- Must possess Valid Driver’s License.
- Work under tight deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Requirement to support semi-annual inventory counts on weekends.
- Must be able to read technical part drawings and interpret Engineering Change Instruction (ECI’s).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constant changing circumstances, while being enthusiastic.

- Proficient in Data Entry and Microsoft Suites, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in an occasionally stressful work environment.
