**Title**: Manager, Allied Health Professional Practice leader
**Salary**: $106,170 - $124,905 - $143,641
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: Standard hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver - Hybrid (50% in office). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.
**About the role**
As the Manager, Allied Health Professional Practice leader, you will be responsible for the leadership of professional practice for FNHA’s Provincial Allied Health services. This position is responsible for guiding the development of professional standards and practice, scope and regulations, supports research activities, and fosters collaboration and problem. Provides leadership and expert advice on allied health practice issues. Collaborates with Director, Allied Health Clinical Practice in development, planning, implementation and strategic work aligning with OCNO and organizational goals.
The scope of this role closely aligns with Nursing, Collaborative Practice, Education & Professional Development, Provincial and Clinical Quality, Clinical Innovation and Cultural Safety & Humility teams to provide a Professional Practice lens and regulatory lens to identify and address learning gaps for clinical allied practice. Key stakeholders include working internally with FNHA departments, the regions, regional health authorities and Provincial and National partners.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- Master’s Degree in a health sciences discipline, preferably in allied health, supplemented by at least eight (8) years’ recent, related clinical and operational management experience in a complex health care environment including progressive clinical practice, education, research, project management and leadership experiences.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Allied Health field from a recognized university and successful completion of approved training in leadership, administration, or public health sciences, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.
As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
