**Title**: Manager, Clinical Education
**Salary**: $109, 356 - $128, 653 - $ 147, 951 (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent, Full - time
**Hours**: 8am-4pm Mon-Wed (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Sinclair Office, hybrid or remote option available. Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.

**About the role**
The Clinical Education & Professional Development team is expanding to include the development and integration of clinical leadership pathways, clinical workforce development initiatives and an expansion of clinical student initiatives such as an Employed Student Nurse program and a New Grad program. You will have a pivotal role with your team and partners in designing and overseeing a Centre of Excellence in clinical education and clinical leadership while leading clinical education initiatives and opportunities such as the annual Health Education Forum. **About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or a related field from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), or relevant professional regulatory body.
- Eight (8) years of experience including roles in health care education leadership and/or management.
- Additional education and experience in Education Theory/Practice and Adult Learning
- Knowledge of, and ability to apply, an understanding of First Nations cultural safety and humility clinical practice.
- Knowledge of concepts, principles and theories of trans-cultural nursing, including traditional, homeopathic, or other healing practices used in the community.
- Knowledge of public health models and concepts.
- Knowledge of the nursing process, conceptual frameworks of nursing, and the theories and principles of nursing practice.
- Knowledge of clinical practice, including the development of policies and/or guidelines on current clinical treatment practices, principles, techniques, disease symptoms, and accident indicators.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.
