Title: Planner
Contract: Permanent
Location: Vancouver, B.C. (Working from home is an option in line with FNHA’s work policy - minimum of two days a week in office).

**About the role**

As PLANNER, you will support the Mental Health & Wellness team in the areas of department and program planning, project and event coordination, research, writing and analysis. This includes the development of reports, presentations, templates, processes and strategic and operational plans. In addition, you will provide support across the Mental Health & Wellness program areas and manages independent projects as priorities arise. You will provide planning advice and support to the implementation of the Mental Health and Wellness framework and process.

You will ensure that the process and practices are consistent with FNHA, First Nations interests, approaches, and philosophies. You will provide planning advice and expertise to the development of strategic and operational plans for FNHA Mental Health & Wellness, and to support decision making of Senior Management. You will analyze, conduct research, and present options for objectives, plans, outcomes, and processes. You will support FNHA performance measurement systems, including assessment, analysis and evaluation of plans. You will prepare and present briefings, proposals and reports, as well as, provide coordination, planning and project support for Mental Health & Wellness events and training. You will manage event logistics in collaboration with partners, including communications, project tracking, onsite support and budgets Engagement & Communications.About youYou have knowledge of colonization, the unique history of Indigenous peoples in Canada, and of intergenerational trauma as it relates to First Nations and mental health. You have an understanding of mental health and wellness programs managed by FNHA, including IRS, NAYSPS, and NNADAP
- Education & Experience- You have a University Degree in a related field, plus 2 years of recent, relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You have recent, relevant and significant experience in planning and/or public administration
- You have experience in working with First Nations
- Significant planning experience would be an asset
