**Position Summary**:
**Title**: Nursing Practice Consultant.
**Contract**: Until April 31, 2024.
**Hours**: 37.5 hours.
**Location**: Sinclair office - working remotely is an option.

**Bargaining unit**: Professional Institute of Public Service of Canada.

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
**About you**

**To be successful in this role you will have / be**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Three (3) years in community / public health nursing and providing clinical support to nurses
- Current registration with British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
- Remote Certified Practice with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP)
- Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP)
- An understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols
- Knowledge of nursing processes
- Ability to asses nursing practices and identify learning needs

**You may have experience in;**
- Primary health, health promotion, disease and injury prevention
- Providing mentorship and coaching nursing and health care staff
- Facilitating in-services and training services
- Creating and designing learning tools and short courses
- Working with student nurses and new graduate nurses
