Toronto, Canada Cabinet Office Full time

**The Job**
Are you interested in helping the government connect with people online? That is the mission of the Cabinet Office Digital Strategy and Content Design team.

In Cabinet Office Communications, we work at the intersection of policy, communications, and delivery. Supporting colleagues across government and the communications community, we are on point to design and deliver transformative digital information on the province's flagship website, Ontario.ca.

We're looking to add another Web Editor to our team. For us, it is all about a citizen-centered approach, ensuring the people of Ontario are aware of and have access to the services they need.

As a Web Editor, you will help manage daily digital requests, support government online consultations, assist in the migration of ministry content to Ontario.ca and help increase digital capacity across the OPS.

Not only is our work strong, but so is our culture. We genuinely care about each other and working in an environment that allows each of us to bring our best authentic selves to work. That starts with our firm commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and safe workplace. It is a fast-paced, exciting environment that demands creativity, collaboration, and diverse capabilities.

The Ministry:
**Cabinet Office** is the Premier's ministry. It provides the Premier and his Cabinet with advice and analysis to help the government achieve its priorities.

The Division and Branch:
The Marketing, Enterprise Services and Insights Division is our new, integrated enterprise service delivery and capacity building division. The division provides strategic, enterprise-wide marketing services and capacity building that will support continuous improvement activities and improve performance throughout the Communications community.
**The Marketing and Digital Strategy** (MADS) branch in Cabinet Office Communications is a full-service, one-window partner for all marketing and communications needs. The branch offers complete end-to-end service, from marketing support and copywriting, to video, photo and design services, as well as content and web support for Ontario.ca.

About the Ontario Public Service (OPS):
The OPS is one of the largest employers in the province, employing more than 60,000 people. Every day we are modernizing government operations and improving public services. We have a wide range of meaningful and rewarding career opportunities in communities across Ontario.

We welcome new ideas and new people, encourage learning and development, and reward achievement. No matter the position, we live the core values of trust, fairness, diversity, inclusion, excellence, creativity, collaboration, efficiency, and responsiveness.

The OPS support career and leadership development, invest in learning opportunities, recognize team and individual achievements, and support flexible work arrangements.

In addition to flexible work arrangements, collegial and professional work culture, career growth and development and on-the-job training to help you succeed, we offer a competitive total compensation package, which includes an attractive salary and may include the following:

- Defined benefit pension plan
- Comprehensive health and dental plans
- Life and disability insurance

**OPS Commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Anti-Racism**: We are committed to build a workforce that reflects the communities we serve and to promote a diverse, anti-racist, inclusive, accessible, merit-based, respectful and equitable workplace.

Visit the
**OPS Anti-Racism Policy** and the
**OPS Diversity and Inclusion Blueprint** pages to learn more about the OPS commitment to advance racial equity, accessibility, diversity, and inclusion in the public service.

We offer employment accommodation across the recruitment process and all aspects of employment consistent with the requirements of Ontario's
**Human Rights Code**. Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation.

The Ontario Public Service (OPS) is one of Ontario's largest employers and is the non-partisan arm of the Government of Ontario. In 2019, the OPS set a goal to achieve parity with the Ontario labour force by 2025 for the most underrepresented groups in OPS senior leadership, including people with disabilities. We seek to develop an inclusive workplace by recruiting, developing, and advancing people of all abilities and promote an environment where everyone has access to workplace resources and accommodations to reach their fullest potential.

As one of Ontario's largest employers, the OPS believes in and celebrates diversity in talent and is dedicated towards recruitment for persons with lived and living experience of disabilities. The Ontario Public Service is an inclusive and equity employer and will provide accommodations under the Human Rights Code.
