We have an opening for a Digital Marketing Consultant (Content Editor) to join our digital marketing team working at our office in Toronto, ON.

We are looking for an experienced and quality-driven content editor to assist our editorial agency team in proofreading and copy editing for our blog and the website content. This is a full-time role. The content editor will also push the writers to produce innovative, community-driven, and sales-oriented content that will help build the organic traffic and hence the sales. **1-2 years of insurance industry experience will be a huge asset, not a pre-requisite though.**

**About you**
- You have at least 2 years of experience in an editorial capacity at a media outlet, agency or similar.
- You are well-versed with digital world and understand how to write content that helps to boost sales.
- You have a solid basic understanding of SEO best practices.
- Your insurance industry experience is a definite plus.
- You are able to critically analyze, contextualize and question information, opinions and data.
- You bring a growth mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement of organizational processes.
- You have excellent communication and organizational skills.
- You are able to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at a time.
- You understand about market research, brand, marketing campaign structure etc.

**In this role you'll have the opportunity to**:

- Proofread and edit website & blog content on a daily basis.
- Ensure all articles and blog posts have coherent copy and address all the questions a reader may have.
- Use CTAs (Call-To-Actions) and copy to encourage sales growth.
- Ensure web copy is optimized for SEO to increase organic traffic.
- Increase credibility of the content and the organization through quality, trustworthiness, and ethical work.
- Embrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, creativity, and having fun.
