Langley, Canada Scamp Transport Full time

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Set up and troubleshoot network connections, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution to IT-related problems.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document and maintain IT support procedures and knowledge base.
- Assist with the management of IT assets and inventory.
- Monitor and maintain system security, including antivirus software updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in desktop support or IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems (Windows).
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) and remote support tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
