About Us:
veritree is a planting management platform developed by tentree, a restorative apparel company that plants ten trees for every item sold. The technology that has powered tentree's tree planting is now accessible to other organizations who also want to help restore the planet through nature based solutions.
About You:

Are you ready to help veritree and tentree restore the planet by making Nature Based Solutions more accessible?
As a Partnership Development Representative at veritree, you are responsible for finding and screening potential customers and brand communities that will benefit from investing in verified restoration initiatives. As the first line of communication with prospective customers, you will have a strong understanding of the veritree value proposition, our sales process, and the business pipeline. Since every potential partner is an opportunity for us to make a positive impact through tree planting, it is extremely important you have excellent communication and organization skills.
What are the objectives of this role?
- Proactively seek new business opportunities by identifying and engaging with new lead sources
- Work cross departmentally with Marketing to create outbound campaigns aimed at high value targets
- Represent veritree's products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
- Accurately record conversations and manage CRM pipeline of opportunities and engage sales executives for next steps
What will you be doing?
- You will identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- You will build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- You will proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- You will set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sales executives
- You will set up partners in the veritree platform and work with Customer Success to successfully deliver on partnership commitments
- You will keep CRM 100% up to date to understand where we stand with every lead, log details of every interaction, follow up at the right time, and don't let anything fall through the cracks
- You will strategically call high-potential prospects for the purpose of booking a demo with veritree executives
- You will report to the Head of Sales with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results (including revenue, pipeline growth, and statistics)
- You must be flexible, open-minded, and willing to work cross functionally as veritree grows
**Requirements**:
- Professional Requirements_
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in sales, business development, with a history of exceeding targets
- Proficient with Hubspot or other CRM software
- Personal Strengths_
- Willingness to learn and grow in the job with a strong desire to move up within a sales organization
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong organization, time management, and process oriented skills
- Desire to work within a start-up environment with a flexible and resilient mindset
