Team Lead, Logistics

**Company Description**
- Organize, direct and disseminate orders to Logistics team
- Provide proper training and guidance to Logistics Operators and is responsible for their success, skill level and abilities
- All shipping/receiving functions as required to support/assist employees
- Perform audits on completed orders
- Provide recommendations and support logistics projects for continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot and provide recommendations to eliminate errors/illuminate opportunities
- Coordinate with Sales to achieve optimum output (weekly sales v daily) full skid sales quantities and other projects
- Comply and monitor compliance to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures as well as company policies and procedures
- Fully implement and maintain 5S, support OPS (Oetiker Production System) activities
- Provide feedback regarding personnel performance to Group leader for performance audits
- Responsible for repacking functions
- Backup position to Group Leader
**Qualifications**
- Emerging leadership skills and experience
- Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multitask
- Meticulous attention to detail. Logistics represents the final touchpoint before delivery to customer.
- Inspection/Auditing experience.
- Demonstrated problem solving and mathematic abilities.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Working Knowledge of the following software: SAP, ERP, EDI
- Experience with Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
