**Auto Logistics Providers Canada is looking to hire Full Time Vehicle Loaders for our Alliston ON location on the Honda property. This position will be to load the new vehicles onto the trains for transport.**

**We load Vehicles Monday-Saturday with either a 6am or 9am start time - your schedule will vary and you must be flexible with both shifts and up to 12 hour shifts depending on the needs for the day. We currently rotate start times and shifts for all rail loaders. You also need to be able to drive a manual transmission/stick shift vehicle.**

**General Description**

Load vehicles on rail cars and secure vehicles in the rail cars or ensure vehicles are parking in the proper spots.

**Essential Duties**
- Drive customer vehicles onto rail cars from staging lines in a safe and efficient manner
- Secure customer vehicles to rail cars by using chains or chocks as required by manufacturer
- Set-up rail car bridge plates
- Raise and lower rail car decks
- Open/Close rail car doors
- Operate loading ramps
- Check vehicles for damage
- Drive vehicles to/from staging areas
- Various duties as assigned or required to help the facility function in a team environment
- Adhere to all ALPC and AAR safety standards
- Train new employees and temporary workers
- Ability to react to change and handle other essential tasks as assigned

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Work with a team of other rail associates
- Work in tight spaces on railcars

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 diploma
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Able to follow directions, both written and verbal
- Able to drive both standard and automatic automobiles
- Able to adhere to strict quality standards without variance
- Good visual ability
- Knowledge of the use of hand tools (i.e., wrenches, screw drivers, ratchets, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand MSDS
- Must have a good sense of balance
- Able to work at a height approximately 15 feet above the ground
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds over head
- Able to push, pull, or carry up to 85 pounds
- Able to pass Safe Driving, Rail and Buck Ramp quizzes with 80% accuracy or better
- Able to stand, walk, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
