Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Joy Farm Market. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our logistics.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week.
  • You will be responsible for overseeing operational logistics, including task organization, planning, and coordination with other departments.
  • Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving work-related issues and improving productivity.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Organize tasks to accomplish work objectives.
  2. Plan and oversee operational logistics, including equipment maintenance and repair.
  3. Coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
  4. Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  5. Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  6. Train workers in duties and policies.
  7. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
  8. Coordinate, assign, and review work.
  9. Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  10. Organize and maintain inventory levels.
What You'll Need
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retail or a related industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) occasionally.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
