Equipment Planner

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead development and implementation of IPV equipment to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Lead and support root cause analysis and countermeasures for Recycle and IPV equipment related downtime and equipment unavailability concerns.
- Support tracking Equipment and Facilities Supply Chain projects during Shutdown.
- Lead planning and execution of all Supply Chain Shutdown projects.
- Manage and report monthly budget results for Waste Management and IPV equipment related deployment and preventive maintenance costs.
- Creating and leading Equipment and Project related daily KPI management & monthly Quality, Cost, Delivery, Management, and Safety (QCDMS) with vendors and reporting internally to Supply Chain deptartment and Purchasing division.
- Maintain and manage equipment hours and preventive maintenance schedules for IPV and other equipment.
- Schedule, confirm and approve outsourced vendor weekly hours (ex: Hansler, Kruger, Crown & Repair/PM vendors)
- Create and manage assist cart preventive maintenance schedule and budget.
- Lead and manage daily outstanding PM/Repair work with vendors.
- Lead and/or support other groups with equipment & safety related concern and countermeasure implementation (for example production impact avoidance/investigation activity, workforce planning support, safety incident containment, other department correlation etc.)
- Prepare and present project/shutdown progress reports to PU and factory departments.
- Lead & support areas of Supply Chain business planning, creating and maintaining HCM IPV and equipment spec.
- Support ESA audits for equipment, risk assessments and hazard control within the plants/on-site vendors, lead countermeasure activity as required.
- Drive continuous improvement (PDCA: Plan, Do, Check, Act) activities by minimizing waste and concerns.
- Provide leadership, technical support and mentoring to department associates to support mass production.
- Support 2nd shift if required for vacation Coverage
**Requirements**:
- University degree or College diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Business or Mathematics and/or minimum 2 years of equivalent experience in Supply Chain (ex. production support, equipment management, and leading project activity relevant to automotive manufacturing environment)
- Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience in a work setting (i.e., developing project scope, schedule creation and tracking, and reporting)
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience working with, maintaining or modifying equipment inside or outside of HCM
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel; Use advanced functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), manage and format data
**Preferred Experience**:
- Experience working with HCM Accounting Software (ex. SAP ERP)
- Possesses a practical knowledge and understanding of IPV equipment (forklift and tow motors)
- Demonstrated strong leadership abilities
- Experience in automotive, production or manufacturing industries
- Experience managing and leading projects of various complexities including initial, project and budget approval, resource management, and implementation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience working in or collaborating with a variety of departments within HCM
- Experience with delivery system tools like GPCS and Smartsheets
- Experience with fleet or equipment planning and management
- Strong organization skills and the ability to plan and prioritize work independently
- Ability to analyze data and costs, evaluate results, demonstrating a strong mathematical aptitude
- Demonstrated ability to utilize technology to streamline and improve existing systems and processes
- Strong meeting facilitation and planning skills
**Job Related Must Haves**:
- Must have a valid G/G2 Driver's License.
- Willing and able to work weekends and or overtime sometimes on short notice.
- Willing and able to work shut-down periods.
- Willing and able to support occasional 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
- Willing to cancel pre-booked vacation
