**Position Overview**:
Reporting directly to the Human Resources Operations Manager, the Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of employee files for all divisions to ensure legislative and contractual compliance. This entry level role is ideal for a new graduate from a Human Resources, Administrative or Clerical program and is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced administrative environment. This position will be based in London, Ontario and may qualify for a hybrid position (2 days working offsite, 3 days in office) after the successful completion of a 3 month probationary period.

**Primary Responsibilities**

**Administration**
- Entering employee training and other certifications into applicable ADP WFN database
- Issue & track online training for new and existing employees
- Annual Administration of Safe Driving awards
- Providing administrative support for the Human Resources team
- Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
- Maintain digital, electronic, and hard copy records of employees
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and records
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Ensure every employee has required certification(s) and has completed all required training
- Updates Global Policies and Procedures
- Updates HR Policies and Procedures

**Requirements**:
**Knowledge & Skill Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 & familiarity with HR & Training systems including report writing
- Strong office and organization skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals
- Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude
- Clean Criminal Record Search
- Must be highly organized and able to meet tight deadline
- High attention to detail
- Advanced communication skills both written and over the phone
- Experience with ADP WFN would be an asset
