Communications & Marketing Lead

eTracks Tire Management Systems is currently recruiting for the position of **Communications & Marketing Lead.**
**Mandate of the Role**
Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications the Communications and Marketing Lead will help build and ingrain brand recognition, raise event and key initiative awareness, drive and maintain positive customer and stakeholder relations, and drive participation both internally and externally in various eTracks initiatives to support the approved annual objectives and Strategic Communications Plan.
**How the Mandate will be Fulfilled**
This role is an excellent opportunity for a Communications Professional who has an affinity for detail and nuance, exceptional written and spoken English skills (French an asset but not required), a proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and the ability to work calmly, strategically, and efficiently within complex and sometimes challenging situations. All while maintaining deadlines and a creative, solutions-oriented approach.
You will co-create, ideate, implement, and deliver compelling communications and marketing strategy and tactics to effectively articulate and promote eTracks through various mediums, (eg. print, online, social media, presentations, events, sponsorship, etc.).
You will be comfortable collaborating with others and advising/receiving advice (as needed), at all levels of the organization, from front-line staff to senior leadership - ensuring that corporate objectives and goals are supported and to implement the annual Communications and Marketing Plan.
You will assess and assimilate relevant information efficiently, to execute communications and marketing solutions that elevate and entrench eTracks' brand within the industry and beyond.
**Core Qualifications, Education, and Experience**:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- Member of theInternational Association of Business Communicators (IABC) preferred.
- 5-7 years' experience in Communications roles demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and achievement.
- Digital portfolio of your own written work and communications campaign examples.
- Proven experience managing internal and external stakeholders, partners and agencies.
- Exceptional English writing/editing skills, including: proofreading, conceptualizing, eye for detail, succinct and clear flow, and theme development.
- Working knowledge and ability to produce creative briefs for complex design projects, and to create various graphics for digital and print.
- Comprehensive understanding of Communications' best practices, techniques, and related technologies, and demonstrated interest in keeping up with the evolving field of Communications.
- Expertise in managing multiple social media platforms, with excellent working knowledge of LinkedIn, X and Facebook.
- Working knowledge of SEO, key performance indicators, measurement tools, Canva and/or Adobe preferred.
- Collaborative team player, able to work independently and on a team as needed.
- Passion for recycling, sustainability, and circular economy topics.
- Working knowledge of government relations and its role and impact on regulated industries.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (required).
**Essential Attributes for Success**
**Communication and Marketing**
You'll be able to engage with various key stakeholders, such as: eTracks staff and leadership team, tire producers (manufacturers and auto-makers), tire collection sites (tire shops, car dealerships), used tire hauling companies and used tire processing plants.
You'll be able to work calmly, thoughtfully, and productively within an expanding and contracting business and industry, pivoting as needed, knowing when to stay the course; and maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented outlook, where changes and challenges are viewed as opportunities.
You'll demonstrate a keen, consistent accuracy in your written and edited work, allowing you to develop and co-create content for a variety of audiences.
You'll provide communications recommendations and advisement to support staff in their day-to-day work, projects, or crisis-related communications, providing strategic and common-sense messaging around a variety of complex and changing topics.
You'll be able to plan and manage events, brand representation, promotional items, sponsorships, supporting both eTracks events, programs and external sponsorships and collaborations.

You'll support eTracks' goal of, making the (tire recycling) system better, with your ability to nimbly handle complex themes and nuance and navigate ongoing change through your innate ability to find balance and maintain a growth mindset.
