**You will join our Environmental and Health practice**

As our new Water Resource Engineer / Hydraulic Modeler, you will join a team dedicated to working with clients to deliver a wide range of environmental related projects, from preliminary studies through design and construction and will work alongside our engineers, scientists, and resiliency planners, including collaborating with our global team of experienced professionals, to develop solutions to help urban and rural communities address the impacts of climate change and sustainable solutions.

**Your key tasks and responsibilities will include**:

- Performing engineering calculations including hydrologic and hydraulic modelling tasks for a variety of water resources projects including stormwater management, site design, green infrastructure, watershed & floodplain studies, streambank stabilization, stormwater and combined sewer and systems
- Conducting field investigations on various projects including but not limited to hydrology and hydraulic evaluations and river geomorphological investigations
- Producing written technical reports and presenting finding
- Provide supporting narrative sections to engineering reports relative to tasks completed.
- Working under the guidance and mentorship of senior engineers
- Preparing designs and/or performing design calculations using design and construction standards
- Assembling, reviewing, and analyzing field data including topographical and water quality data
- Performing alternatives analysis
- Completing job sites visits to gain field experience, broaden background, and develop practical engineering skills.
- Participating actively to help create a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.

- BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, with 3 - 5 years of experience in one
- and two-dimensional hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, including:

- Hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, ISIS/Flood Modeller)
- Flood Risk Assessments
- GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- MATLAB, R Studio
