The Francis Winspear Centre for Music is seeking a dynamic individual to become our next **Donations Coordinator**. We are looking for an employee that is excited to be part of our music-centered, community-driven organization for this permanent full-time position.

The Winspear Centre is a nexus for all types of music, and welcomes traditional and experimental forms of sonic art. The Winspear Centre is home to the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) and the Tommy Banks Centre for Musical Creativity, and is the venue of choice for local community groups and touring artists. Over the last 70 years, the ESO has taken its place as one of Canada’s foremost orchestras, and has played a vital role in the cultural life and wellbeing of our city. The Tommy Banks Centre hosts programs that provide all Edmontonians the opportunity to immerse themselves in music - as spectators, apprentices, and creators.

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Acting Lead, Philanthropy, the Donations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the administration of donations for the organization and acting as an ambassador for the Winspear Centre.

This is a full time position occasionally working at home and primarily working at the Winspear Centre and requires the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to attend regular events at the Winspear Centre and become immersed in our musical culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process contributions and donations with accuracy to managing all data via a database
- Generate donations reports from databases, issue charitable tax receipts and send to donors
- Conduct prompt and regular appreciation be establishing appreciation phone calls and communication with donors
- Support the Philanthropy team with Capital Pledge payments, sponsorships, and donations, stewardship, and legacy giving activities
- Active participation in Philanthropy Department activities to attend concerts, and stewardship and fundraising events to lead with producing guest lists, name tags, and meet and greet patrons
- Provide administrative support to other departments as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration, fundraising, or data management
- Experience working with confidential personal data and maintaining confidentiality
- Experience working and thriving in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- CRM experience with Tessitura is an asset
- Highly skilled in Excel, Word, and Outlook and experience using macros in Office an asset
- Effective organizational and time management skills
