Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are currently seeking a full and part -time bookkeeper to maintain full cycle bookkeeping for multiple family-owned businesses in the hospitality sector. Office locations are in Port Coquitlam and Pitt Meadows. This varied and challenging role provides a flexible and friendly working environment with competitive wages and benefits.

**Responsibilities**
: Data entry for all bookkeeping processes including ADP payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
: Monthly bank reconciliations
: Preparation of all government tax remittances including source deductions, GST, PST, Worksafe BC, Employer Health Tax and corporate tax installments
: Preparation of internal financials for monthly review
: Year-end preparation of financials for Accountant to review.
: You will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping to trial Balance for year ends, as well as setting up accounting and bookkeeping systems for new business acquisitions.
**Skills**
: Excellent Knowledge of Sage
: Be adept using ADP for payroll and HR management.
: Full cycle bookkeeping to trial balance
: Proficiency in creating and maintaining MS Excel worksheets required
: Proficiency using MS Word
: Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
: Be highly organized and have exceptional time management skills.
: Have the ability to work to deadlines.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Sage: 2 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
