Van Jon Paving is seeking an accountant to join our team You will perform accounting and payroll administrative functions in order to drive company success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Full knowledge of the accounting cycle
- Able to work with Sage Software and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Include but not limited to complete payroll process, accounts payable, general journal entries, monthly entries, bank reconciliation including government responsibilities
- Prepare year end documents for accountants
- Keep orderly financial records, maintain and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping system
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Develop and implement organizing filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Highly adaptable and can work efficiently autonomously or with a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational
- Diploma in accounting or bookkeeping
- Minimum of 5 years in Bookkeeping

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
