Office Assistant

**Job Overview**
**Duties**:
- Answer and direct phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Perform computerized data entry tasks accurately
- Assist with proofreading documents for errors
- Manage front desk activities including greeting visitors
- Type and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office for various office tasks
- Handle basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Assist with general office clerk duties as needed
**Qualifications**:
- Proficiency in using phone systems and computerized systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette
- Prior experience in an office environment is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $14.71-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 - 20 per week
Flexible language requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (required)
