Reception and Admin Assistant

The Reception and Admin Assistant is the primary contact for all walk-in customers as well as incoming phone calls. The role involves administrative support in assisting the sales team in the showroom when required. Other administrative duties include but are not limited to filing and processing payments.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**_Reception_**
- Greet customers, determine the reason for their visit, provide basic information and direct them to the appropriate individual; assist customers in the showroom while sales specialists are on break.
- Answer multi-line telephone and provide information when requested; transfer calls to the appropriate party through the switchboard
- Complete customer sales using credit/debit machine
**_Administrative Support_**
- Enter sales orders on behalf of the sales representatives in the proprietary computer system
- Order office supplies and keep the storage room organized
- Make sure all furniture is tagged with up-to-date pricing
- Keep the showroom tidy, clean, and presentable
- General administrative tasks including filing, printing orders for ship-out, processing payments
**Qualifications**:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task
- 2 years of receptionist or administrative support experience, preferably in a busy retail / office environment
- Strong orientation towards internal and external customers.
- Strong MS Office and other software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP)
