**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of Executive Assistant at our Home Office, located at 10 Prairie Way in Winnipeg. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Essential responsibilities of the Executive Assistant include but are not limited to the following:

- Provide support to the Chief Executive Officer and support to the Leadership Team and the Board of Directors.
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, coordination of meetings and appointments, preparation of expense reports and presentations, etc., ensuring meeting materials, agendas and follow up is available.
- Provide support to the Board as directed by the CEO, including, meeting minutes of various board, committee, and special meetings and proactively following up on any action items.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Act as Elections Officer (EO) for the annual Board of Directors’ Election Campaign by ensuring all requirements are meet as outlined in the bylaws and timelines, and to provide oversight support to the Digital Marketing Coordinator for the Elections posters campaign.
- Plan meetings and events, such as board meetings, strategic planning sessions, board and management dinners, training sessions, etc.
- Play an active role in assisting with strategic initiatives and projects, offering administrative and project management support.
- Maintain various digital platforms
- Work collaboratively with various departments and all levels of staff.
- Be a liaison and public relations representative for the Co-op within the communities we serve.
- Create and maintain appropriate and organized record keeping and data storage relating to confidential information.
- Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
- Some administrative and project relate duties may require that work occurs outside regular business hours (i.e. attendance at Board meetings, attendance at offsite meetings and presentations).
- Other duties as assigned.

**About You**:
You have a minimum of five years of related experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment. You have a proven ability to multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines. You understand the need to preserve confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment regarding sensitive matters. You are highly motivated, resourceful, proactive and reliable. You are skilled at navigating change. You possess outstanding organizational skills, thrive under pressure, and are adept at managing your time efficiently.

This position requires above average verbal and communication abilities, and strong interpersonal skills. You must build relationships easily, and enjoy working independently as well as in a team setting.

You are technologically savvy, and are proficient in all programs within the Microsoft Office suite. You have above-average skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and experience organizing and sharing content using Microsoft Teams.
