- The St. Mary's Research Centre (SMRC) is a member of CIUSSS-de-l'Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal and a McGill Network Research Centre that specializes in research focused on the organization of care, patient-centred interventions and community partnerships that promote quality and proximity of care. Located in the heart of the Côte-des-Neiges district, the CRSM is also involved in research on optimizing care for vulnerable populations.
- This position is responsible for supporting the following activities, but not limited to:
- Assist a senior manager or non-manager in administrative and professional duties.
- Performs secretarial and clerical duties of a complex nature requiring in-depth knowledge of all branch related programs.
- Responsible for the administrative operation of a branch and oversees its internal and external relations.
- Follow up on the decisions of the person he/she is assisting with the staff of the directorate and the managers concerned.
- Handle requests sent to the senior manager or the senior manager's office and respond adequately and independently to requests.
- Resolve problematic situations.
- Determines actions to be taken, informs the senior executive or non-executive or directs requests to the appropriate individuals for follow-up.
- Assist a senior manager or a non-executive in specific or more strategic files.
- Ensures quality control of documents and suggests ways to improve the organization of work and the services offered by the office staff.
- Requirements:
- College diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS), Zoom and Doodle;
- Bilingual required (French and English) written and spoken;
- Ability to teamwork and to managing several files simultaneously;
