- **Qualifications**:_
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or proven equivalent experience (asset)
- Ability to perform internal tests following procedures.
- Knowledge in operation of electronic tools/equipment.
- Ability for independent learning of new topics/fields and responsibilities.
- Knowledge with the quality standards required to determine the certification requirements of a product (asset).
- Experience in electronic product certification and regulatory requirements (asset).
- Knowledge with the quality standards required by UL, EN, CE and FCC to determine the certification requirements of a product (asset).
- Interface between engineers and certification bodies (asset).
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Define product specifications required by certification bodies (INTERTEK, UL, CSA, FCC, Industry Canada etc.) to obtain approval for market release.
- Collaborate with certification bodies in performing tests to assure that projects proceed accordingly.
- Coordinate external laboratory testing.
- Review engineering schematics, reports, analyses, correspondence, and data to be used for certification.
- Work with the R&D team and certification bodies to develop product design specifications.
- Conduct meetings and technical presentations as well as maintain engineering files and company records.
- Ensure that products are labeled according to acquired certification.
- Lead engineering R&D projects using appropriate test resources.

Communication in English required for international interactions.
