**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the delivery of the HSE program, ensuring the Clients prevention framework is actualized and Best Practices prioritized.-
- Identify hazards, manage risks, implement and evaluate mitigation measures to eliminate or minimize occupational hazards.-
- Conduct daily site visits and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE processes, closing gaps in execution.-
- Support in accident investigations and implement corrective actions which effectively correct the causes.-
- Interface with the client in a supportive and respectful manner, preparing timely communications and reports.-
- Assist in maintaining required HSE records and develop and present routine HSE progress reports.-
- Be an active member of the HSE team by interacting with on-site personnel and demonstrating Hitachi Energy's HSE processes.-
- Promote the Hitachi Energy behavioural safety program by providing coaching and support to site personnel.**Qualifications**:
- CNESST-certified health and safety coordinator (CoSS) for construction sites (Desirable)-
- ASP Training-
- Professional certification (e.g. CSP, CIH, NCSO) and/or an OHS diploma (or equivalent).-
- Minimum 2 years HSE experience in the construction field.-
- Bilingual FR/EN-
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.-
- Acts with openness and integrity.-
- Technically proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Teams.-
- Electrical safety experience including high voltage power distribution environments (Desirable).**More about us**
