**Position Title**
- Associate Training Coordinator**Position Summary**
- Continuing Education and Corporate Training is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Associate Training Coordinator.- Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager, this role will be instrumental in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate training programs, courses and events. The responsibilities encompass overseeing non-credit/corporate program logistics, ensuring seamless delivery, and fostering exceptional client, learner, and instructor experiences while also contributing to business development efforts. - Provides Training Development Lead insights during course costing development; validates and confirms all course content dates and data before submission to Business Solutions Manager
- Monitors enrollment numbers for all assigned programs; brings in marketing to address enrollment concerns. Regularly monitors student enrolment, program progress, and student/program satisfaction and identifies opportunities to improve service
- Reviews website and registration website to ensure marketing and course content is accurate and current
- Supports Training Development Lead in non-credit curriculum review and development; identify ineffective curriculum content prior to blackboard loads
- Coordinates the overall program delivery process; proactively solving problems and putting solutions in place to have top quality program experience for learners
- Review Course Evaluation data and provide executive recommendation on continuous program improvement
- Supports Training Solutions Assistant in hearing and solving student questions and complaints; escalates complex issues to Lead
- Coordinates issues of attendance with instructor, student and/or client
- Coordinates corporate client learner wrap-up celebrations, as appropriate
- Is the initial point of contact for non-credit instructors seeking support. Develop relationships with Instructors to support quality learner experiences; guides instructors on processes, supports, use of classroom tools, attendance, etc
- In collaboration with the Training Development Lead, coordinates onboarding/offboarding paperwork and training for all Instructors in portfolio. Addresses instructor questions during onboarding
- Supports the review of analytics to improve learner retention
- Advocate improvements to heighten the learner/client experience

**Required Qualifications**
- Two (2) years of post-secondary training, completion of a community college certificate including trades apprenticeships or equivalent.
- Two years experience in coordinating programs, including planning, scheduling, and logistics management
- Experience with Program/Curriculum development/delivery
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with students, instructors, and program participants
- Ability to be successful in an entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving and analysis skills to address issues that may arise during program delivery and find practical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally. Including interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrates sound judgment, reflective decision making and political acumen
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in program materials, communications, and scheduling
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, instructors, and external partners to achieve program objectives
- Ability to travel to key markets and work flexible hours as needed
- Experience or knowledge in event planning and coordination, including managing venues, catering, and event logistics, an asset
- Basic understanding of data management and reporting to track program metrics and analyze performance
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and circumstances in a dynamic work environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with stakeholders and create a supportive program environment
- Resourceful in finding solutions and leveraging available resources to enhance program delivery and participant experience
- Openness to learning new skills and staying updated on industry trends and best practices in program coordination

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Four (4) year undergraduate degree
- Project Management Certification desired
- LERN Certified Program Planner an asset
