Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a part-time position with regular office hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide administrative support to the office staff
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and faxing
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and completeness

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience working in a front desk or office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of computerized systems for managing appointments and records is a plus
