The Program Manager DH&CI, provides leadership by leading and motivating the digital solutions team; providing clear direction; effectively delegating and monitoring performance results; motivating and developing others to go above and beyond; supporting others through change; making decisions that balance the best interests of the team, the organization and its stakeholders; and leading by example by living Covenant Health’s core values. The Program Manager will work to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, accountability and sustainability of clinical initiatives that assist in the successful transitioning to a fully integrated electronic health record (EHR) throughout Covenant Health programs and services. They monitor and ensure the overall progress of the portfolio and adjust as corporate and business needs evolve. Keeps the Director informed of key accomplishments and brings forward concerns or issues with recommended solutions or options for discussion and resolution. The Program Manager will develop relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance resources and services. They will work with operational leaders to identify needs and communicate changes to service levels which impact the programs and sites. The Program manager advocates for Covenant Health service and needs at zonal and provincial tables. This position is non-unionized.

**Required Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, Health Informatics or other related field. Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a health care environment, including experience in leadership or in leading the integration of digital technologies in clinical practice, policy and practice development through clinical change management methodologies. A strong working knowledge and intimate understanding of healthcare delivery. Membership in good standing with appropriate professional organization (i.e., CARNA, HSAA, etc.) Knowledge and understanding of clinical practice and workflows along with Covenant Health as an organization. Good working knowledge of clinical services, information technology and systems. Strong leadership skills as characterized by recent and relevant references.
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Proven project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues list, manage project plan). Strong communication and follow-up skills. Ability to participate and negotiate solutions to resolve conflicts that may arise. Ability to lead other IT and clinical operations staff through complex discussions and negotiate solutions. Detail oriented and knack for probing for information to fully understand the underlying needs that drive how the system should be built. Ability to work in a team environment and individually to build and maintain positive working relationships with vendor staff and external partners will be key success factors in this role. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines are essential. Must have working knowledge of basic systems principles, theories, and concepts and of the healthcare business. Experience mentoring and supporting junior staff. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Self-motivated with little supervision.
