Human Resources Coordinator

**Job Summary**
Responsible for supporting human resources activities including staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, associate relations and performance management.
**Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities**
- Support core human resources programs including staffing, associate relations, compensation, benefits, performance management and learning.
- Ensures timely completion of required associate documentation for employment-related processes.
- Develop and recommend solutions to a variety of human resources issues.
- Supports administration of human resources policies, programs and procedures.
- Works with managers and associates to investigate and resolve associate relations issues.
- Acts as a liaison between the human resources and the field.
- Answers day-to-day HR questions for employees in regards to payroll items, benefits, and policies.
- Assists with special projects as needed.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Previous experience working in a human resources department.
- Experience with a variety of diverse internal and external customers and contacts.
- Prior experience with HR/payroll systems.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
**Career Level Dimensions**
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
**Education and Experience**
Typical Training/Experience
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
Problem Complexity
- Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
Autonomy
- Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
Leadership
- None.
