We are looking for a Technical Service Representative to join our Coatings team in Cambridge and Woodstock, ON.

We are seeking a professional like yourself to join our team as a Technical Service Representative for the Automotive Coatings Group operating within Ontario. In this role, your primary function will be to provide in-depth support to our Toyota Automotive customer, working onsite at the customer account during day / 1st shift operations 5 - 6 days per week, with the ability to be on-call during off hours and weekends, as the situation demands.

In this role, you will support the efforts of BASF to assure value to the customer for product technical support, problem investigation, analysis, and resolution.

You will demonstrate the technical and professional expertise needed to enhance BASF’s reputation with the customer. This role controls key performance indicators within product service environments to drive problem resolution and product improvement initiatives critical to customer performance expectations. **You will be based in Toyota Motor Manufacturing facility in Cambridge and Woodstock, ON.**

**As a Technical Service Representative, you create chemistry by...**:

- Inspecting and evaluating painted units for defects (e.g., run outs, film build, drips, craters, dirt, throw power, etc.) providing process recommendations for control and correction.
- Interacting with production team members, maintenance personnel, and management at this customer manufacturing facility.
- Managing technical support activities on your own with mínimal supervision.
- Creating written reports, analyzing product and process data, and supporting inventory management and supply as required by the BASF service leader for that location.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, along with safety mindset.
- Proficient computer skills and experience, including the ability to generate and maintain files in Microsoft Office which includes daily reporting and entry responsibilities.
