**About this Role**
Essity Health and Medical is looking for an experienced Public Affairs & Market Access Manager who will contribute to the company's efforts of securing optimal patient access and reimbursement for the company's products in a geographic country/cluster. The role is responsible for leading the execution of the strategic plan related to foundational market access and reimbursement.

**What You Will Do**
- Propose a reimbursement strategy in both public and private sectors.
- Provide price, reimbursement, and market access inputs into forecasts for HM portfolio products.
- In consultation with Commercial, R&D, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs teams, develop and translate payer insights into meaningful evidence generation plans that support a strong reimbursement file.
- In partnership with Commercial and Medical Affairs, develop and execute an account strategy for best-in-class launch success.
- Ensure that payer and provider needs are represented within HM strategy.
- Build and deploy the Market Access Strategy and integrated policy and communications approaches to optimize patient for our HM products.
- Collaborate on the development of optimal pricing strategies and oversee implementation of pricing activities consistent with the strategy.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Legal to develop and execute integrated product access plans.
- Oversee training of cross-functional stakeholders to educate on key market access initiatives, messaging and materials.
- Work with Medical Affairs and conduct Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) data and analysis to advance our value proposition around our core solutions.
- Represent HM Canada in key industry and medical associations aimed at advancing education and access.
- Build competence & argumentation around reimbursement/care standards/professional guidelines in local market (internally & externally)
- Secure LMT’s management awareness of local regulations and Essity/Trade Association’s code of conducts to be compliant in go to market practices Translate business opportunities to regulations and legislative activities (by preparing convincing arguments and building lobbying tools)
- Translate regulations/guidelines into business solutions (by developing communication/education material and support tools)
- Establish strong external network and position Essity in relevant trade associations to assist the company to reach above country objectives by securing support from relevant country representatives
- Ensure effective communication with local agencies and partners as well as within the organization
- Participate in relevant Public Affairs networks to secure that local needs are taken into consideration and contribute to best practice and knowledge sharing/building
**Who You Are**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree; MBA preferred
- 5-10 years in the health care industry, with at least 5 years specifically in market access
- Experience successfully launching new products, achieving formulary access and market share objectives (wound care, incontinent care, vascular care experience a plus)
- Strategic thinking, team leadership, result-orientation, Customer-focused, Local Market knowledge, Omnichannel approach, Value creation & financial acumen, Collaboration & Influencing skills, Commercial & Business Acumen
- Strong leadership (direct and influencing), collaboration & communication (oral and presentation) skills
- Bi-lingual preferred (French & English)
- Travel 25-50%
