Join our team as Sales Territory Manager for Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in the Finishing division and be a visionary. Pave the way to a brighter future, both for yourself and all Canadians needing visual correction.
Your mission
You will be responsible for achieving key business objectives that have been defined for your territory (growth of volume; growth of revenue; etc.). You will also analyze regional competitive factors and thereby define action plans and recommend strategies to ensure continued growth of the territory. You will need to develop and maintain excellent professional relationships with existing and potential customers. A strong ability to close sales is vital.
Your main objectives
Plan and visit in a logical and economical matter (territory management) all targeted accounts to present, discuss, orient, and sell the most suitable edging and finishing solutions to the prospected client. Present a weekly assessment of past visits and a coming week action plan; maintain customer database (CRM);
Increase our market position by implementing sales strategies such as market analysis, visit programs (Focus), follow up calls, attending conventions and interacting with the lens teams - all to generate new leads. Submit updates and track record of all actions and maintain a database of client history.
Support all accounts by supervising finishing installations and provide training to ensure all is done according to existing procedures. Support all current and future service issues and maintain an annual contact follow-up.
Represent the Company in a professional manner by keeping an up-to-date knowledge of products, finance strategies and business orientation. Build strong business relationships with customers and respect customer’s schedule and requests.
Promote new products and promotional programs as developed by Marketing.
Promote, deploy, and train on current dispensing sales tools.
Position will require travel, in some cases overnights and on weekends.
**Profile**:
College or University Degree in Business, Optics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years working experience in sales, optical industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, territory, time management and customer follow-up skills.
Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 kg.
Good with overnight travel up to 50 % of the month.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
English spoken and written.
The role is based in Alberta.
