We are looking to add an experienced and reliable Administrative Assistant to our team. Are you organized, personable, and motivated by autonomous, fast-paced work? If so, we have an exciting opportunity available
Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you will work independently to provide support in an inclusive, efficient, accurate and timely manner.
What You Will Do- Provide administrative support to the Director, Engineering Services, including manage calendars and priorities, organize meetings, including logistics, preparation of agendas, presentation materials, tracking, and follow up on action items.- Administer all correspondences, travel arrangements, meeting facilities, employee expenses and corporate card administration.- Assists with analysis and reporting of the departmental budget and other operational factors.- Act as liaison between internal and external parties (e.g. parent and affiliate companies, external customers, governmental organizations, etc.), as required.- Provide assistance to the Management Team to ensure timely deadlines are met specific to objectives, performance, compliance and reporting.- Support and respond to Management’s requirements on both recurring and ad-hoc issues.- Compile sensitive information for the purpose of crafting confidential reporting and tracking for the business unit.- Communication is both verbal and written and involves consolidating and communicating important information with tact and diplomacy.
Who You Are
You will have the following:
- Minimum of 3 years of directly related professional and/or business service support experience is required. Post-Secondary education in Administration or Business (or equivalent) is preferred- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at one time and bring them to successful conclusion within deadlines.- High level of analytical, organization, prioritization, planning, problem solving, decision-making and time management skills.- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and able to communicate optimally at various levels of the organization.- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information and internal/external client services.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential.- Passion for upholding Enbridge's core values of Safety, Integrity, Respect, and Inclusion.
