The Administrative Assistant will provide a broad range of administrative support functions to the Director of Fund Development and Communications_. _This may include scheduling and preparing for community events, managing social media platforms, organizing program supplies, preparing internal and external communications with stakeholders. This position will be providing main back up coverage for administrative staff at both offices in Chatham as well provide after-hours coverage two days per week.

Reporting to the Director of Fund Development, Communications, Mental Health Promotion, the incumbent will be responsible for the following functions:

- Backup coverage for admin staff at the main office and YWHO locations when required.
- Updating social media platforms, websites, and internal communications.
- Preparing agendas, correspondence summaries, and other items for meetings in consultation with the manager/staff and ensures items are distributed appropriately.
- Preparing supplies and maintaining communication products including presentations, posters, calendars, etc.
- Scheduling and organizing presentations and special events for target populations to include school, workplace, and the community at large.
- Utilize fundraising software.
- Scheduling communications with external stakeholders.

**Skills required**:

- advanced social media and graphic design skills.
- must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be well organized.
- Professional writing.
- Fundraising software experience would be an asset.

**Hours of Work**:35 hours per week, hours of work include:
(Monday, Thursday & Friday 8:30-5pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 10:30-7pm)

**Salary**: Commensurate with experience within the range: $38,149-$46,413, inclusive of HOOPP
