**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Processing Biweekly payroll
- Tracking vacation and Personal days off
- Create and update records with personnel, financial and other data.
- Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preparing government grant reconciliations.
- Answer, respond and/or redirect incoming phone calls.
- Check voice mail and answer queries or redirect if necessary.
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
- A college program in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and understanding financial reporting.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Efficient organization skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Experience in managing payroll, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Experience with QuickBooks is an asset.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic office environment where you can utilize your accounting skills while contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.
