**Bannister Automotive Group Chilliwack **is currently looking for an Experienced **Accounting Clerk** to join our team at our dealerships in **Chilliwack.**

**Requirements**:
This integral role will be responsible for reconciling statements and contacting suppliers regarding outstanding credit, and processing accounts receivables. Other responsibilities include posting sales transactions into the GL and following up with customer receivables. Posting and Reconciling Car Deals.
- **Education**:_
- Completion of high school with a Certificate / Diploma in Accounting
- Prefer a minimum of 4 years of progressive Accounting experience
**Essential Skills**:
- Strong Accounting knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills in dealings with both employees 3rd Parties
- Keep track, process, and reconcile payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, checks, refund requisitions, etc., in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding, and matching of invoices/receipts
- Work together with internal and external clients
- Regularly tabulate data and compile necessary reports.
- Generating invoices and account statements
- Performing account reconciliations
- Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
- Producing monthly financial and management reports
- Investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries
- Solid understanding of and experience with an automated Accounting System.
- Dealership Experience Preferred - CDK Software Knowledge is an asset but not required
- Ability to exercise discretion, tact, good judgment, and a high degree of confidentiality in dealing with difficult situations.
- Experienced in the use of computer programs, the Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication
